Our client is a well-established international player in the food ingredients industry, currently undergoing a significant strategic transformation. To support its continued growth, we are looking for an Area Sales Manager (M/F/X) to develop the markets in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.

  1. Your challenge!

    Take full ownership of your territory!

    As an Area Sales Manager, you will be solely responsible for your geographical area and play a key role in driving its commercial growth.

    Your main responsibilities will include:

    • Growing sales with both existing customers and new prospects.
    • Identifying and securing new business opportunities with distributors and industrial customers.
    • Managing and expanding a customer portfolio across Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.
    • Acting as the specialist for one product range while collaborating with colleagues on other product categories.
    • Developing and implementing your own sales action plan.
    • Leading commercial negotiations and building strong, long-term customer relationships.
    • Working closely with international technical, marketing, and sales teams.
    • Providing regular reporting and maintaining an up-to-date CRM.
    • Representing the company at trade fairs and industry events within your territory.
    • Spending one full week per month at the company’s headquarters in Tournai, with all travel and accommodation expenses fully covered.

    Ideally, you have:

    • At least 3 years of experience in a B2B sales role.
    • Mandatory experience within the food industry.
    • A proven ability to generate new business opportunities.
    • Strong autonomy and excellent organizational skills.
    • A positive, solution-oriented mindset.
    • The ability to work effectively in multicultural environments.
    • The adaptability to support change within a company undergoing transformation.
    • Fluency in German and English (mandatory). Knowledge of French is considered an asset.
    • A strong results-driven and customer-focused approach.
